The daring Peter Pan and his pixie Tinker Bell

Can you guess what our kids were for Halloween? We started the season off by going to the Red Barn in Santaquin to buy our pumpkins with Adam’s mom, 2 sisters, sister-in-law, and niece. They take you on a little hay ride out to a pumpkin patch where you get to go find the ones you want and then you ride back where they weigh them. They also have super yummy fresh donuts with other goodies and a little country store. Adam wanted me to make sure that I mentioned he picked his right off the vine although he didn’t. The pumpkins had clearly already been cut and just set out throughout the patch. Then we had a few Halloween parties. First a week ago we did a trunk or treat and chili cook off with our ward. Thursday Cassie had a Halloween party at preschool and then we went to Adam’s work where they had more trick or treating. I am going to say that Peter is pretty much a momma’s boy and doesn’t like to leave my side but when there is candy involved he is everywhere. he wanted to stick everything in his mouth and kept wandering away. Plus he would linger at a candy bowl forever and cried whenever we put a piece of candy in his bucket and didn’t let him hold it. This afternoon we carved our pumpkins, one for each of us, and then Adam took the kids out trick or treating while I stayed home and tried to do the dishes in between the doorbell. The kids were Peter Pan and Tinker Bell which was actually Cassie’s idea originally. She loves reading books with names that she knows. She has a book called Pinkalicious that is actually really cute and the girl has a brother named Peter which she loves. Here are a few pictures of our Halloween adventures.
