So we haven’t been the best at updating the blog the past few weeks. As you all know, this is a terribly busy season and thus, sometimes the small things like blogging get neglected.
We’ve definitely been keeping busy the past few weeks with shopping and wrapping and cooking and preparing neighbor gifts, etc. For the most part, these have been fairly mundane activities with few snapshot moments, but we have accumulated a few photos.
I’m sure with Christmas coming, there will be plenty more blogging opportunities before the end of the year. But until then here is Thanksgiving through this weekend:

Peter keeps wondering why Cassie gets all the good posts. I try to tell him he needs to do something interesting, but he won’t listen. He just sleeps and eats and cries and poops.
Anyways, here’s Peter chillin’ in his crib. His shirt and crib remind me of that scene from garden state lol.

I got to take Cassie to her tumbling class this week. She has a lot of fun stretching and bouncing and running around. She’s really not very good, but has a good time none the less. The best part is at the end when all the kids get their hands stamped with a rubber stamp. Cassie is scared to death of the stamp and avoids it at all costs.
Below are a couple more shots.

No position is too uncomfortable for a sleep-deprived child. Hopefully I won’t post one of these every week.

Lately, Cassie doesn’t seem to like taking pictures with her dad. Here I got a nice slap in the face. Thankfully Peter still likes me.
Here are some nice pictures:

I know that every parent in America has about a hundred pictures like this. Yet, I am amazed, once again, at how thoroughly dirty a child can get in just a few minutes. How do you clean this up? A hose? A large bucket of water suspended from the ceiling? A carpet cleaner? Too bad she doesn’t fit in the dishwasher anymore.

1:00 pm church time can be challenging for even the best of us. After surviving three hours of church, Cassie came home today and immediately crashed on her little chair. We’re talking like 60 seconds after she got out of her car seat.
One more benefit of being a kid I guess.

I’ve been trying to get peter to smile on camera for a month now. This is the closest I’ve come. Of course, I’m not sure if babies really know how to smile at this age. But they do know how to make all sorts of crazy faces.
Below I’ve included a few more crazy faces that all occurred in less than 60 seconds. He must be gassy.

I don’t have a ton of time to write on this blog, but I do want to keep fresh content on the blog. So I have decided to do this “Snapshot” series. The idea is that every day or so, I can post a picture that I took during the duration of the day. Then a couple times a week I can do a larger post.
Today, I took Cassie to the park by our house and we played for a bit. The playground was crazy crowded because there must have been 57 baseball and soccer games going on. I think Cassie is laughing in this shot, but she’s a bit bipolar so you really never can tell.
Here are a few more pictures from that day:
