As of today (November 7th), some customers are being blocked at Checkout with this error message:
“Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it’s correct and try again, or select a different address.”
This issue seems to be affecting only US orders; however, I am also experiencing inconsistent shipping options for UK customers regarding phone number entry at checkout. This is not related to our shipping company issues; this is a software issue with our platform.
I am working with Shopify’s Tech Support and my shipping apps to resolve this, but as you can imagine, this process is very slow and frustrating.
As a temporary fix, I have set up a standard Flat Rate for all US orders that should cover most shipping costs. This will at least allow you to complete your order. I hope to have this fixed as soon as possible.
