Refund policy




The products sold here on the Pop Goes the Monkey site are not produced or shipped by our staff or employees. We utilize multiple third-party, production partners like: Shapeways, Inc., Slicer LLC, and Printful, Inc. to print and ship each order placed on our site to our customer. Payments for these orders are processed through Shopify, Inc. and by Pop Goes the Monkey on your behalf to our vendors. This allows us to be able to offer thousands of unique and high-quality products without the tremendous cost of carrying inventory. 

However, because of this arrangement we have to work within the procedures and automated systems of my partners. This means that once you have completed the transaction of your order, we (aka Pop Goes the Monkey) cannot change, combine, cancel, or alter your order in any way. The reason for this is that Immediately after your order is processed It goes to an automated manufacturing queue at sometimes multiple third-party fulfillment companies around the world. These systems allow our production partners to coordinate multiple order into each production run to allow them to ship your products to you as quickly as possible. Even changes to the shipping address at this point requires the direct interaction with the service department of our production partners, so check you address carefully before you complete your order.

Because our products are custom-printed for each customer at the time they are ordered, we cannot offer refunds or accept returns to customers unsatisfied with the products they receive unless an error was made in fulfilling your order or your item is damaged or misprinted when you receive it. An item order in sized apparel that, matches the customers order but that does not fit, does not qualify as misprinted or defective.

If you receive an item that is damaged, misprinted, or if we made an error in fulfilling your order, you must contact us by email within seven (7) days of the date on which your order is delivered.  We cannot accept returns or process refunds (if permitted by these Terms) unless we receive your email at In response to your request, we may require you to provide additional information or photographs to verify the damage, misprint or error. In some cases we may require that you return the damaged, misprinted or erroneous item to us. If we do the return shipping costs will be reimbursed by Pop Goes the Monkey or we will provide a return shipping label.  Upon receipt of all information necessary to process your request (if applicable), we will, at our sole and exclusive discretion, ship a replacement product or issue a full refund, to the original form of payment, for the original purchase and shipping price. 

Your purchase price will include the price of the product(s) ordered plus any applicable sales and regional tax.  Sales tax is based on the shipping address and the sales tax rate in effect at the time your order is processed.  In jurisdictions where we do not collect and pay sales tax, you may be obligated to pay a use tax.  We make no representations or warranties regarding the imposition of use tax in connection with any purchase made on the site and we are not liable for any use tax or for your failure to report and/or pay use tax.  You are responsible for determining whether use tax may be due in your jurisdiction, and, if necessary, reporting and/or paying use tax.  

Shipments that get returned to our production facilities because they were unclaimed or had faulty addresses will initiate an email from us to the address listed in your account, in an attempt to have the items reshipped to you by means of a new or corrected address. If this communication attempt is unsuccessful after thirty (30) days, the items in your order will be listed as unclaimed. Items declared as unclaimed may be destroyed by the production facilities at any time. 

Reprints or Refunds for order lost in the shipping process are at the sole discretion of Pop Goes the Monkey and their production partners. These decision are only considered after investigating the tracking history and communication with the shipping company.  

Pop Goes the Monkey reserves the right to cancel or refuse to process an order if we reasonably believe that the order placed is fraudulent, unauthorized, illegal or we believe that the order violates the Terms of Service.  We take these measures to protect our customers and ourselves from fraud and other unauthorized or illegal activity. If we decide to cancel or decline an order, we may do so at any time in our fulfillment process (including after you receive an order confirmation). We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders that, in our sole and exclusive discretion, contain pricing errors or other inaccuracies that lead us to believe that the order was processed by fraudulent means. If we cancel your order after your payment is processed and before any items of your order have be produced, we will issue a full credit or refund to your original payment method. Any payments for the cost of items that have been produced after an order has been canceled in this manner are un-refundable.
