5x Urban Street: 25mm Low-Profile Round Bases

These 25mm bases come in packs of 5 and are specially designed for Epic-Scale games. Each base is uniquely textured with one of five different surface details that match other bases with the same style. Our customers find that these 2mm thick, round bases work well for games like Legions Imperialis or Titanicus*, but they can also be used with any 6-8mm scale game systems, such as Epic 30k or 40k. 

PolyApe-12 is a nylon plastic that offers excellent strength and durability. It is a matte white material that can be easily dyed any color you want, even with a simple Sharpie pen, or you can leave it white and paint it. This material is porous enough to accept acrylic paint color without the need for a primer; however, it may provide a nice dark starting point to paint on if you do. We recommend using super glue to attach parts to this material.

To dye our PolyApe-12 bases, add your selected synthetic fabric dye (RIT DyeMore) to some hot water (near boiling). This way the dye can easily dissolve, allowing the bases to absorb the dye quickly. Submerge the bases and maintain the heat until the bases reach you desired color intensity. Rinse the bases thoroughly in cold water and allow to air dry before using.
